Farron Research is a technology enabled services business providing respondent recruitment and project services to the qualitative research function of government and (predominantly) large private sector organisations. Whilst they offer research recruitment services for both qualitative and quantitative sampling, they focus and specialise in qualitative research recruitment and are one of Australia’s largest operators in what is a niche sector.

Farron performs the function of recruiting respondents and managing both the respondents and the research project itself for a client. This involves screening, verifying, recruiting, and managing research respondents that match a client’s desired demographic for a research project. They then manage and facilitate the research project, whether it be interviews, usability testing, online projects, online surveys, focus groups, workshops, taste testing etc.

With a large, extremely well curated, and managed database of respondents and an unparalleled reputation for reliability, integrity and responsiveness, the business is deeply embedded into the research process of some of Australia’s largest organisations. Included amongst their clients are some of the largest operators in banking, insurance, grocery, telecommunications, market research and advertising agencies, government departments and social media.

Farron have been optimising consumer research in Australia since 1998 and with the development over the past several years of a proprietary technology system, they have continued this legacy of progress by enabling their clients to transition from conducting face-to-face and in-person research to online and virtual.
