Brian has over 45 years experience in the fire protection industry, ranging from his apprenticeship as a sprinkler fitter, through to Supervisor, Project Manager, General Manager, MD roles and the establishment of his own fire protection business Asset Fire & Security in 1992.

Brian’s time has been spent managing large fire protection businesses, growing those businesses and building strong client relationships including substantial maintenance bases of blue-chip clients. In addition to providing fire services throughout Australia, Brian has successfully expanded those business both organically through the sourcing work across Australia and by way of strategic acquisitions.

Brian’s strengths are in business development, client relationships and people management. His emphasis on training, together with his close relationship with Fire Industry Training (FIT) has culminated in the training of over 200 apprentices.

Brian was the National President of the National Fire Industry Association (NFIA) for 17 years, he was awarded the NFIA Life Achievement Award in 2017 and is the now a Past Patron.
